Vintage Tipp City ‘Cattails’ Salt and Pepper Shakers

Description

This is a pair of Vintage Tipp City ‘Cattails’ Salt and Pepper Shakers. These White Milk Glass shakers measure 2″ square and are 2.75″ tall. Decorated with Red and Black painted cattails pattern with black geese and the words “Salt” and “Pepper” in black cursive lettering on one side. Feature rounded square, art deco design scalloped edging and original Black painted screw top lids. The condition is very good with no chips or cracks. The graphics are slightly faded on both shakers and the lids have both paint loss and minor rust on the interior. Shakers are marked Tipp USA with a number on the bottom. Date from the 1940s.
