Description
This is an Antique Carborundum No. 102 Razor Hone. This stone measures 4″ long, 1.5″ wide and .5″ thick. Comes in original box with instructions for sharpening razors printed on the inside. Carborundum has a crystal structure like that of diamond and is almost as hard. It is used as an abrasive for cutting, grinding, and polishing. The condition of the stone is very good. The original box is in well used condition and is missing one end. Made by The Carborundum Company Niagara Falls New York circa 1900s.
