This is a fabulous Marc Chagall (1887-1985) Lithograph titled Moses Sees the Sufferings of his People from the 1966 The Story of Exodus. This original lithograph printed on Velin d’Arches paper, is one of 24 Lithographs from the series published by Leon Amiel, Paris and printed by Fernand Mourlot, Paris. It is unsigned or numbered as issued (250). None of the impressions from the edition were individually signed. The image size is 18.5 x 14.5 inches, sheet size is 20.85 x 15.15 inches. The overall framed size is 26.5 x 22.25 inches. The condition is very good with no fading or tears. There is a small fold on the right hand side. Wood frame, matting and glass in original condition. This piece is referenced and pictured in the artist’s catalogue raisonne by Mourlot, plate #446.
