Hand Carved Dave Epp ‘Blue Heron’ Folk Art

Description

This is a rare Hand Carved Dave Epp ‘Blue Heron’ Folk Art. The wooden sculpture measures  5 1/2″ tall and 4″ wide. It was hand carved from wood and mounted with metal feet on a piece of burl. It has been hand painted and even has real feathers on its head. The condition is excellent with no damage or paint loss. Bottom is covered in felt. Marked BLUE HERRON EPP. While not dated, this item likely dates to the 1970s.
