Vintage Hand Painted Ceramic Siamese Cat Figurines

A classic example of mid century kitsch; this is a pair of Vintage Hand Painted Ceramic Siamese Cat Figurines. These charming figurines are both decorated with flowers and feature classic Blue eyes, long eyelashes and long, elegant necks and legs. The male cat measures 8 1/8″ in height and is in excellent condition with a tiny fleabite on his left ear. His partner measures 7 1/4″ tall and is also in very nice condition with two small fleabites on her right ear. Marked Japan. While not attributable to a specific manufacturer, they are very reminiscent of Napcoware or Norcrest.
