Description
Manufactured between 1942 and 1956; this is a Vintage Fire King Sapphire Blue Philbe Mug. This hard to find mug measures 3.5″ tall, holds 8 ounces and features a D-shaped handle. It is rare and predates the Fire King Green Jadeite D Handle Mugs which are highly collectible as well. Made of clear heavy glass with a Sapphire Blue tint and slightly raised decorative pattern. This mug is in very nice vintage condition. The rim is free of any chips or flea bites and free of significant interior or exterior scratches. The bottom rim does have 2 chips (see photos). Marked Fire King Oven Glass in reverse on the bottom.
