Designed and modelled by Arthur Gredington; this is a Vintage Beswick Pottery Puma on a Rock #1702. This gorgeous large porcelain Puma measures 13″ from the tail to the outstretched paw. It is 9″ to the top of the head. As with all Beswick animal subjects, a team of experts visited Beswick to review the details of the model for size and proportions along with the coloring. The modelling and coloring of this Puma sitting on a rock is superb. He is finished in a Light Brown glaze with Tan underbelly. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or flea bites and no crazing. The underside is marked with a incised Beswick England 1702 along with a round Beswick England stamp.
