This is a rare MCM Elena Graure Manta Purple Art Glass Candle Holder. This charming Candle Holder measures 11″ tall and sits on a 3.5″ wide base. Hand Blown Purple and Frosted glass in the form a shapely Woman in a lovely dress. The Dress is highlighted with thin Gold wire, some of which has been incised into the glass. Holds a standard 2″ tealight candle. The condition is superb with no chips, cracks or flea bites. Known for her Perfume Bottles, Elena Graure Manta was born in Romania and grew up in Germany. Piece is signed Elena on the base. Mande in Germany Circa 1970s.
