Description
Dating from the late 19th or early 20th century; this is an Antique Brass Double Inkwell. Sometimes referred to as a Partners’ Inkwell, this heavy Brass Inkwell measures 9″in length, 5″ in width and is 2.5″ tall. Features 2 slightly domed lids which open to reveal the original glass inserts. The condition is very nice with no chips or cracks in the glass and no rust or pitting on the brass. The brass has developed a nice aged patina and has not been polished. New felt has been added to the bottom. Inkwell is not marked.
