Description
This is a rare 1940s Pyrex Primary Blue Nested Mixing Bowl (401). The Bowl measures 5.75″ wide, 3.25″ tall and holds 1.5 pints. This Bowl was part of the first run of the Pyrex Primary Colors Set and features no number (#401) on the bottom dating it to between 1945-1949. The condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or flea bites. There are a few pinhole sized paint loss marks (see photos) and some small utensil marks. Marked Pyrex T.M. Reg U.S. Pat. Off.
