Description
A very nice Pair of Foley China ‘Olive Branch’ Pin Dishes. ‘Olive Branch’ was designed by Hazel Thumpston for Foley Bone China and manufactured by E. Brain & Co at the Foley Works in Fenton, England. The larger dish measures 6″ long and 2 3/8″ wide. The smaller one measures 41/2″ long and 2 1/2″ wide. Both are decorated with Olive Green glaze on cream porcelain. The condition of both pieces is very good with no chips or flea bites. Marked Foley Bone China Made in England and include Hazel Thumpton’s signature. Produced between 1950 and 1959.
