Description
This is a lovely Antique Manning Bowman Pewter Trimmed Granite Ware Tea Pot. The Tea Pot measures 10.5″ from spout-to-handle, 8 3/4″ in height and 4″ across the base. Features a Grey Granite Ware body with Pewter top, pour spout, handle, base and body ring. The condition is very nice with no dents or repairs. White patches in photos are light reflections. There is a small chip to the left of the spout. The Pewter components are in very good condition with aged patina and some signs of light wear from usage. The ring holding the spout in place is loose and the Tea Pot does not hold water. Being sold for decorative purposes only. The Manning & Bowman Co. (1849-1945) was formed in Meriden, Connecticut. Teapot dates to circa 1890s.
